Research in Dam Engineering and Safety

Research to enhance the nation’s dam safety programs and practices is a key activity authorized by the Dam Safety and Security Act. With funding authorized by Congress, the goal of the National Dam Safety Review Board (NDSRB) and the Dam Safety Research Work Group is to encourage research in areas expected to make significant contributions to improving the safety and security of dams throughout the U.S.

For research links in a particular area (hydraulics, hydrology, dam removal, risk, geotechnical, seismic, etc), see ASDSO's Resources by Topic pages.
