Job Description: Administer the state’s Dam Safety Program as authorized by Part 315, Dam Safety; and Part 307, Inland Lake Levels, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended (NREPA).  This position inspects dams and prepares inspection reports for approval by the supervisor or senior licensed environmental engineers.  Reviews reports, emergency action plans, and permit applications; assists in the maintenance of the state dam inventory database; and assists senior environmental engineers responding to emergency situations regarding dams.

Job Title:  Regulatory and Compliance Engineer/Architect Senior 

Location: Baltimore, MD

Job Description: The main purpose of this position is to assist the Division Chief with the implementation of a comprehensive dam safety program in Maryland by serving as a lead dam safety engineer in the State within a specialized civil engineering skillset (including geotechnical, water resources, and structural).
