State Dam Safety Program Membership

New Membership Structure for State Dam Safety Programs

Following last fall's discussion period, the ASDSO Board of Directors voted to approve new membership tiers for all state programs. These tiers wrap in state voting members and individual memberships for state employees into tiers based on the number of employees memberships the states want. These new tiers will replace the current State Voting and State Sustaining memberships levels currently in place starting July 1, 2023. All states will be contacted prior to their renewal period to get a better understanding of the tiers and discuss which tier is best for their state.

State Dam Safety Program Member - $1,800 in 2023 and $2,500 starting in 2024. 

  • Dues Support ASDSO Goals/Objectives that Benefit State Programs
  • 1 State Voting Member
  • Up to 10 additional state dam safety members
  • All state members will receive the following benefits: 
    • ASDSO Monthly Newsletter Subscription
    • ASDSO Journal of Dam Safety Subscription
    • Access to ASDSO “Members Only” section of the website
    • Access to ASDSO Collaborate where you can share your knowledge with nearly 3,000 dam and levee safety professionals around the world
    • Access to the Dam Safety Resource Database with over 12,000 entries and over 5,000 downloadable documents (only members have access to downloadable features)
    • Members-Only Discounts on Technical Training Opportunities

State Dam Safety Program Member Tier II - $5,500

  • Dues Support ASDSO Goals/Objectives that Benefit State Programs
  • 1 State Voting Member
  • Up to 30 additional state dam safety members
  • All state members will receive the same benefits listed above

State Dam Safety Program Member Tier III - $8,500

  • Dues Support ASDSO Goals/Objectives that Benefit State Programs
  • 1 State Voting Member
  • Up to 100 additional state dam safety members
  • All state members will receive the same benefits listed above
