Incident DescriptionA late-season snowstorm in mid-April led to snowfall accumulations from 12 inches to 30 inches in the watershed. Spring rains in late April and early May accelerated the snowmelt and added to the runoff volume. Flow through the auxiliary spillway caused a progressing headcut in the grass-lined spillway.
